A WORDPRESS NEWS THEME · VERSION 2.2.0
Your stories.
A different rhythm.
Nabd brings a familiar feed-style experience to WordPress publishing: news, writer profiles and reader discussions in one connected interface.
Built around the publication.
A focused news feed.
Posts, breaking news and saved stories, with layouts for desktop and mobile readers.
A home for your writers.
Front-end publishing, public profiles, reader subscriptions and flexible editorial roles.
Keep the conversation together.
Threaded comments, grouped replies and in-site notifications for registered readers.
Make the details yours.
Brand colors, typography, cover images, light and dark appearance, and RTL support.
English foundations. Multilingual by design.
Nabd uses English source text and includes translation catalogs for Arabic, Persian, French, Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Turkish, Indonesian and Russian. Other languages fall back to English until a translation is provided. Theme translations do not automatically translate your articles.
Released, and honest about it.
Nabd 2.2.0 is the first public release. It ships with a child theme, demo content, full documentation in English and Arabic, and licence files for every bundled asset. Verified on WordPress 7.1 and PHP 8.3, with zero debug notices across every template and no horizontal scroll from 320 px up in both reading directions. Real-device testing on iOS Safari and Android Chrome is the one thing we have not done ourselves — the documentation says so plainly, along with everything else we have not measured.
One price. Every site you build.
$49
One-time. No subscription, no per-site fee, no activation key.
Card checkout is being set up. Until it is live we invoice by email and send the download the same day.
- The theme, plus a ready-to-activate child theme
- Demo content and one-click import
- Full documentation, English and Arabic
- Nine complete translations
- 12 months of updates, 6 months of support
Why there is no site limit.
Nabd is GPL, like WordPress itself. That is not a technicality we are glossing over — it means you may run it on as many sites as you like, modify it however you want, and hand it to a client without buying another copy. There is no licence key and no activation check anywhere in the code. What $49 buys is the packaged download, a year of updates and six months of support, not permission you already have.
The full terms, including refunds and what support covers, are in PURCHASE-TERMS.md inside the download.
What we have not tested.
Nabd is verified on WordPress 7.1 and PHP 8.3, with zero debug notices across every template and no horizontal scroll from 320 px up in both reading directions. Two things we have not done ourselves: testing on real iOS Safari and Android Chrome hardware, and current performance measurements. We would rather you read that here than discover it later. The documentation carries the same list.
