This guide covers the current release candidate. Some screens may change before the public release.
1. Check the basics
The current theme declares WordPress 6.2 or later and PHP 7.4 or later as minimum requirements. Use a currently supported WordPress and PHP release on your host. Local testing does not guarantee compatibility with every hosting configuration.
2. Install the theme
- Open Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.
- Select the installable
nabdZIP. Upload the theme archive, not a package containing documentation and other archives. - Choose Install Now, then Activate.
- Open the Nabd control panel to review appearance and publishing preferences.
3. Add your content
Create articles using WordPress Posts. Existing WordPress articles remain in your database when you change themes. Check your existing blocks, media embeds and any plugin-specific shortcodes on a test copy before switching a live publication.
4. Review on mobile
Check your logo, navigation, article images, comment controls and profile pages on a phone as well as desktop. Test once while signed in and once as a visitor.
